@criquaer #ChristmasMovies are great because they are so easy to watch, no difficult storyline to follow, and always a happy ending. I must admit I've been surprised over the last few days to see that people are still watching Christmas movies into January. I love them, on 1st December I make my watch lists and work my way through to my favourites, but by Jan 1st I'm done. Christmas decorations and movies are over for a year. I wonder if anyone watches them through the year?

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holliday Special was fantastic. Much better than I expected. We might well watch it every year.

Watched Lost at Christmas a couple of nights ago, which takes place in a more familiar Scotland where the weather goes sideways at you and has no truck with deep and crisp and even. It features Seven and Jamie and Amelia Pond and Kochanski 1, as well as the two leads, all as ships that pass making a happy, shared moment that's fine for now, regardless that it doesn't solve their problems for good. A quieter one of the #ChristmasMovies.

Just watched "Happiest Season". How have I not seen the film before? Added it to my Letterboxd. I think this will make my yearly Xmas movie playlist.
