I knew I was pushing it by deciding to make a start on a Christmas quilt last week. I'll be lucky to get it finished in time but I'll try. The pattern is from an old issue of Quilters World and the Christmas trees were green, but me being me decided to jazz them up a bit 😄 using a Klimt design. Hopefully I'll be posting a photo of the completed quilt by Christmas 🤞🏻

Been sorting out the pattern pieces for my terrifying upcoming shirt project and I've started as I mean to go on by using this rather festive gold star tissue paper to trace it out! It is going to be a Christmas shirt, after all.

Planning to follow advice and make a muslin first, but somehow nail it on the first try and move onto the real thing with extra confidence.
