Ugh showering is complicated with #ChronicIllnesses. Have to get one in a little bit after my mom bathes our 2 little dogs because I stink and really need it. Looking forward to it because I know I'll feel better afterward but dreading it because I always fall asleep after showering. Don't want to go to sleep since I slept most the day. Some people can turn the water cold at the end to wake up but my body doesn't take shocks to the system well and that can mess me up for days. #NEISvoid

Holy Moly. The last 2 weeks at work have been a little hectic. I hought I only had Monday off for Christmas holiday. I just found out I have tomorrow as well. It felt like a million pounds being lifted off my shoulders when my manager just said this during a call.
Work has been exhausting recently and it's starting to affect my chronic illness. I feel like crud today. The wet weather never helps either. :orange_bird:

It’s hair wash day, plus I have to water all my plants, which is a pretty mammoth task when you don’t have a hose and have to do each one individually by hand. Thanks to my #ChronicIllnesses I’m exhausted and in pain and the day had barely started for me. All I really want to do is curl up with the new #MichaelConnelly #book. It used to be my train trip to Sydney at Xmas book each year but now that I’m flying instead I get to read it earlier. Just a tad excited.

Fun fact about my Reba Rose Parker book series: my main character is a badass with multiple #ChronicIllnesses and #Disabilities.

There are a certain number of things that I have to do like work & family, so I have to pick & choose the rest based on what it is & how much energy I need to expend.
