I haven't had the stamina or energy to touch a wip for weeks, but with back to back days to rest, and give my #chronicpain and fatigue a kicking, I hope to return to #writing next week 😄

I'm glad to be at the stage of #longcovid recovery where my body only falls apart after 8-9 weeks of #teaching (used to be 5 🙃). This term is a huge improvement on last year!

If things go bad & I can’t get #pain #meds on time, can anyone recommend #herbs/remedies/whatever to help withdrawal?

Also, is there anything legal & equivalent in pain control to 25ug fentanyl (not as strong as you think). If I can find something I don’t need a script for that would be great so I’m not held hostage like this in future.

Medicating yourself is pretty much illegal in #Australia unless it’s alcohol.

So this image is circa 2018 and it’s one of my faves rope suspension photos ever because I mean just look at it. Bodies are amazing! And I still can’t believe some of the things this old meat sack has been able to do. I mean, I’m not a young, bendy, bombproof bottom. I worked my ass off to be able to do these things. I have chronic pain every single day that I fight against to be able to do anything at all.

A while ago I started collecting a bucket list. Activities I want to do before I die, and things I want to achieve.

When a flare of #ChronicPain is so debilitating I start to feel there's little point to life, it's been great to pull out that bucket list and remember some of the things I look forward to.

Realistically I might never be able to do a single one due to #disability but it gives me the spark I need to keep hope kindled.

I have a catch up at the doctors tomorrow to discuss my #ChronicPain medication.

They make me do it once a year.

One of the problems of dependence on opioids/opiates is that when you change from med A to med B, you get full withdrawal symptoms for A. Head-in-a-vice headaches are So Fun. #ChronicPain
