At long last, I've completed my read-through of #dccomics #TheSpectre #comicbook #chronology for pre- #New52 canon.

I did not care for #CrispusAllen or that whole era of the Spectre and I'm glad it's over.

I finished my #MadameXanadu pre-#New52 #chronology with the #Vertigo #comic series by #MattWagner et al.

What. A. Series! This quickly became one of my top #dccomics / Vertigo comics. I'm absolutely in love with this series and the way Madame Xanadu's history was interwoven with DC Comics history.

I highly recommend this series if you're looking for something off the beaten path when it comes to DC comics.

Just finished reading #Shadowpact as part of my #Enchantress / #JuneMoone #chronology read-through.

It was pleasantly entertaining, even if Enchantress's heroic turn didn't make much sense given her history or the absence of her magic addiction/corruption. Still, it didn't detract from my enjoyment. That kiss with #Nightmaster came outta left field, though.

Dear #Histodons, I am struggling with the beginning of the year in England. When did it change from Easter (Dionysian cycle) to Christmas? It must have been before the 12th/13th century because it changed to Lady Day after that.

And an additional question, because I know that in Norman Sicily Lady Day was the beginning of the year: Could William I also have introduced 25th March as the beginning of the year?
