Braved the bad NYC air to meet up with another neon bender friend and go see the #Chryssa show at #DIA #Chelsea . Glad I did- It was neat seeing the old school glass tube supports and acrylic boxes. Seeing the 25mm blacklight pieces everyone in the neon industry has been buzzing about- Neat work! I liked how she was inspired by typography, commercialism and visual overload.
I learned that she worked with a bender- for some reason I thought she was the bender.
