lockdown cancelled our trip to tokyo .. & the pandemic changed permanently my relationship with time .. so i collected traveling cat furoshiki to use as a calendar, one for each month

this is the fabric print for may : traveling cat rests in a field with a wooden boardwalk & japanese iris ..

.. i like to think this calendar will continue to match the seasons as our climate tips .. today on the last day of may, it does

#CimateDiary This year's #WorldPoetryDay follows on just one day after the release of the latest #IPCC report, so I thought I might share this poem my 12y daughter wrote in English at school a couple of months ago. Not sharing as a great poem or anything, just because it does express what their generation think and feel (sometimes, in btw endless hours of make up, TikTok, etc etc...) #ClimatePoetry
