Here are the results of taking an entire roll of film using a tripod. The sharpness says it all. Even with a high ISO stock like this CineStill 800T, the difference is visible.

Feeling daunted. I feel like my photos are technically good but lack substance and intrigue. They look like something a student would make.

The longer it takes to get some studio lighting the more I will stagnate unless I get some inspiration.

I notice a lot of liminal space using the film I have loaded tonight ( 800T) is the same cliches. Gas stations. Parking garages. Empty office buildings. Empty city streets that don't really look uncanny, just lonely.

I want to transcend that. I want spaces your great-grandparents wouldn't feel out of place in, but uncanny. I took a few shots tonight that might get me started. I also want to stage some studio shots.
