This is a shocker from NZ Police.

Former DS Tom Fitzgerald is the man behind the now discredited CIPEM interviewing system. He retired early last October when CIPEM came under investigation.

Despite ongoing investigations into CIPEM, Police have just selected him to head "a major internal overhaul of training and professional development for police investigators".

Numerous serving officers are far from impressed.
