Yesterday, we used the newly improved walk+bike-friendly #WestCliffDrive in #SantaCruz to bike to the park for our daughter's 1st birthday party.

It was great!

Thanks to the new human-friendly street design, we saw a toddler learning how to use a push-bike, a new father walking with his newborn baby, a person in a wheelchair, an elderly person with a cane.

Our 5-mile round trip was relatively car-light, thanks to this & other bike-friendly paths.

I hope the #CityOfSantaCruz keeps this up.
