Keep bottled water in your car, personal care kits (with hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, personal wipes, & a comb), & if possible meal cards so they can get something to eat outside soup kitchen hours (my sister does McDonald’s ones). You do not have to sign up in order for the Constitutional right to shelter yourself as best possible w/in your means; that right is secured by the mere existence of free showers.
