Heute mal für eine Keynote in Leipzig beim #CiviCamp von †.
Den ganzen Tag geht es um das OpenSource CRM CiviCRM und die Möglichkeiten fürs #Fundraising.

Neben den vielen Chili-Pflanzen, fand ich vor allem interessant, was alles möglich ist, wenn man auf die dahinter liegende MySQL-Datenbank zugreifen kann.

Auf einmal kann man mit externen Tools lesen, analysieren und schreiben. Freut die Entwickler:innen und erleichtert die Anbindung externer Systeme.

This presentation on #CiviOffice by Lena Jukna from Civi superhaus @systopia was impressive. Not only integrating tokens with mail-merge to-PDF/docx within #CiviCRM but 'snippets' to add one off messages that get integrated into the merged ticket, certificate, letter, custom-short story, etc. #civicamp

Best turnout at #CiviCamp Leipzig I've seen at a #CiviCRM event in a while — over 130 for the camp and some 30 staying the week for the #CiviSprint.

Was a fun day yesterday at #CiviCamp #CiviCRM in London. About 70 people from 40 different orgs came together to learn from each other in how to use this #openSource tool to do their #charity / #campaign / #community thing better.

I offered a talk about how to (and not to) use email metrics.

Michael McAndrew covers the important topic of sustainability in #CiviCRM and how we can reduce our CO2 emissions.
