1. le azioni di #civichacking degli attivisti abilitano ancora riusi intelligenti dei dati, ma comportano un costo per i singoli cittadini che mi fa arrabbiare. Quanto ancora può reggere questo sforzo della società civile? Possibile che nel 2023 siamo ancora a questo punto?
2. le persone e il capitale sociale che si portano dietro cambiano davvero le cose, quando si mette sul piatto un vero rapporto di #collaborazione. Il caso di IT-alert è davvero una bella pratica, dovrebbe essere la consuetudine, ma è ancora un caso troppo isolato nel rapporto tra le parti;
3. #crisiclimatica, riuso e #PNRR: qui è dove io ho perso la pazienza. Qui è dove la collaborazione è una presa per i fondelli della società civile.

Here's an update on the #civicHacking project I've been posting about ... the #Austin Public #Library Event Finder.

I've got an unstyled prototype that's setup and doing round trips to the API service.

This weekend I'm working on the UI for my #civicHacking project. I'm not a front-end developer, so this will be a bit of a mess.

I'm thinking of using the Vue.js framework with Primevue UI component library. Anybody want to talk me out of this?

I'm far enough along in my #civicHacking project to tell you the working title is "APL Event Finder". It will provide advanced search and notifications for events at the #Austin Public #Library.

The two core microservices have MVP implementations. This weekend I'll start on the UI. That'll be fun. Haven't done significant front-end work in years. (Last time I did I used knockout.js ... 'member that?)

So, I'm starting on a new #civicHacking project, the first I've done in years.

I think the rational choice for the backend would be something like Python or Go. But, nope, I'm doing it in Kotlin.

I know this means I'll probably have to do this one solo. But I find Kotlin development too delightful to forsake it for something more popular.
