Not only integrating tokens with mail-merge to-PDF/docx within #CiviCRM but 'snippets' to add one off messages that get integrated into the merged ticket, certificate, letter, custom-short story, etc. #civicamp

Best turnout at #CiviCamp Leipzig I've seen at a #CiviCRM event in a while — over 130 for the camp and some 30 staying the week for the #CiviSprint.

Some big news in the #CiviCRM world – driven by @artfulrobot, alongside @bgm and others – #CiviCRMStandalone is returning. No longer will you need to install the biggest FOSS non-profit/non-capitalist CRM inside WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Backdrop – it will have it's own user login, ACL and management system: https://civicrm.org/blog/josh/civicrm-without-cms-welcome-back-standalone (donations towards this welcome).

This should also make it easier to bridge with other PHP/Symfony Fediverse apps (Pixelfed, Castopod,…?)

@rufposten @dvg das geht sehr gut mit #civicrm ! Das ist zwar ohne Zweifel ein bisschen aufwändig einzurichten. Aber es gibt Provider, die das vergleichsweise günstig anbieten. Und dann hat du nicht nur ein Newslettertool, sondern gleich ein ganzes CRM.

Just written a new Email-to-Activity extension for #CiviCRM

There is a function built into core which requires you to send the email to a special email address, but that can get quite messy.

To use my new one, you'd save your email(s), then upload them to Civi. It doesn't create any contacts (by design) and it imports HTML emails. It also stores them with inline images, but Civi currently filters those out on display. (hmmm)
