I have found that here a few times when I have got my hand slapped for not adding #alttext to a photo (as I should have). It is up to each of us to accept the norms and community standards (#acceptance #humility #understanding #politeness #civildiscourse #love). As was the rule in my house growing up, we all need to try and follow this one. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. I for one am working hard to follow this one!

Something that I find increasingly bothersome in the public space is the habit of some to take horrible personal jabs at those they disagree with instead of just saying what they don't agree with. I'm sure I may have slipped at times and been petty, I work really hard at not doing that.I am sincerely trying to find a healthy way forward. I don't see how we can ever come together as human beings if we can't even have a civil disagreement. My heart hurts.
