For years #CivilEngineers have been pushing #government in #Minnesota to catalog and maintain underground #infrastructure. It is still mostly #OutOfSightOutOfMind until a catastrophic failure occurs. The #neglect is wasteful and disrespects the generations who invested their labor and tax dollars in building the system.

Design floods are modeling tool used by #CivilEngineers to plan how to build communities in areas that are hydrologically active.
Design floods are also very useful for #EnvironmentalScience research. At #AGU22 last year #UniversityOfVermont-based and Cluster collaborator Scott Lawson presented about work in this area: https://bit.ly/3KTuj9O

Don't know if I have any #CivilEngineers that can see this, but does this exist out there somewhere?
Was working on reducing a 3 level rotary to a single bridge, and noticed if you reverse the direction of the cloverleafs on a standard #interchange, you can convert it to a #rotary
Has the benefits of the 3 level rotary, with the simplicity of a coverleaf (i.e. mostly grade) construction - might even be able to convert an existing cloverleaf over in a weekend
