I was finally able to get the whole album from Gautier Capuçon, Yuja Wang, and Andreas Ottensamer. I previously only had a few tracks. It is worth getting the complete album. 3.3 stars out of 4.

A friend gave me an old, metal A Fontaine clarinet. The pads are mostly gone, but the springs are good. I’m hoping to re-pad it and pick up a mouthpiece and see if I can get it playable again. I haven’t played clarinet since high school, but this would be a fun project.
I realize that it’s probably going to potentially cost more than it’s worth to restore it, but I want to take it on as a project.

I'd need some advice on beginner models.
Are those cheap instruments, such as

of any value? My idea is to start rehearsing with one of those, replace the mouthpiece (with a Rico C5 or so, how to measure the size?)
