So I listened to some Xennakis again.
He's very intense. I wad waiting for the slow, quiet meditative music, but it kept pressing on. It's "high blood pressure" music.
Nothing wrong with that and he's very good, with some amazing sounds of sort of shifting tones grinding against each other, but he wasn't one for the love ballads.
You listen and then take a deep breath to recover.
