Toward the end of Part 2 Rubin asked Nash about Just a Song Before I Go. Nash was in Hawaii and said he was bet $500 that he couldn't write a song before he was supposed to leave the next morning. This is the song he wrote; it is such a fine example of the incomparable vocals that were CS&N.

I knew it was the Talking Heads, but no idea what the song was. So I spent some time this morning re-listening to Talking Heads and finding the version of this song that I thought was the best recording. Turns out I liked the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame video of the Heads' induction ceremony in 2002 the best. This was the last time they ever played together as a group.
