I made this image because I liked how the gold reflected the surrounding rock in yesterday's quickie. I wanted to try it with something a little bigger before I take the setup down. The Disco Spaceman is what I had.
They ducks were added here for some colour – and madness!

Sometimes my photoshoots are not… perfect. There was a mistake with the homemade butane gas flamethrower, the flame exceeded the planned range. A sad day.

The Classic Spaceman, an enduring Lego design, still looks great after almost four decades.
I have a set of the oldies. Only the red is mine originally, the others I bought a few years ago. There's also the yellow and the blue, not pictured here.
The golden one is obviously an aftermarket issue, it just looked great. I call it the Disco Spaceman.

I'm sure this wasn't their vision but they simply didn't have enough blue parts!
