I woke up this morning and was seriously struggling with my #mentalhealth, #depression, and #anxiety. I was. the same yesterday, so much so that both days I didn't get out of bed until almost 11. In just 8 days I go back in the #classroom as a #teacher and I'm growing increasingly anxious about it. I'm having real trouble getting work done, focusing, even taking care of myself has been a challenge.

The worst part is, I am looking forward to seeing my students from last year, I taught Freshmen and I’d love to see how their lives are going and how they've matured. It's a joy to watch them learn things and figure out the world and they teach me!

Yet, I have my dream job, the job I've wanted for years, I worked HARD (really hard) to get here. Yet I am terrified of going back, anxious that I can't teach the classes they've assigned to me, and I hate it. I hate it so very much. I wish it would stop, I truly do. Can't my brain just let me enjoy the things to enjoy?

I am in therapy to work on these issues but... Well it's slow going and I'm not the best patient.
