I've been making some replicas of the William Murray Clay Pipes I recovered a few weeks ago from beside the Forth and Clyde Canal in Maryhill. The original pipes were made in the Caledonian Pipe Works on Garngad Hill in the east end of Glasgow between 1832 and 1861.
If you're interested, the first framed set is available for purchase in the Partick Mini Market on Dumbarton Road in the west end. More will be available in the next few weeks.

Just some of the thousands of fragments of clay pipes which seem to have been unearthed by recent improvements to the walkway alongside the Forth and Clyde Canal in Glasgow.

Oh, also I love #mudlarking. Enjoy this pic of some #claypipes I’ve found. A few are 400 years old!
