Huh, so since I've moved instance I guess I should do an introduction...

I'm a super left leaning, increasingly grumpy, queer Welsh/Sri-Lankan #trans woman (she/her) living in the PNW of the US (now there was an error...).

I'm an ex technical writer, ex sys-admin, ex-biochemist, now a #CleanTransportation #Journalist with @show, and an ER nurse in the (horrific, unconscionably cruel, immoral, unethical & collapsing) US #healthcare 'system'.

My toots encompass mainly incessant rambling about household #DIY (and my wife and I's endless renovation project - just feel sad you can't go back and relive the excitement of the tiling master thread). Also #gardening #cooking #chickens #making #retrocomputing and #repair. Particularly with #Acorn computers - my first love.

Also...I'm very slowly converting my 1969 #Morris1000 to electric, so expect wittering about that...and of course expect ranting about the genocide being enacted on trans folks right now.
