One shudders to think what the reaction would be in #canada and #scotland if anyone were so foolish as to propose to include the "personal benefits" of the #highland #clearances in the #history #curriculum ! Not a perfect analogy but the best I can manage.

I don't know the details/politics of this specific case. But I know that #debt is a serious #risk factor for security #clearances. Ask any #intelligence agency.

If I hadn't read this poem, I wouldn't have gone searching for the answer.

I never know how much more to say. I don't mean this to turn into a lecture. I just learn so much from poetry and the rabbit holes I follow to understand it.

Could the roadway be lowered approaching and under #tunnels to maintain #clearances and the pedestrian paths combined making space for a #PBL? How many bus stops are there? Could they all be on one side?
