I upgraded OpenWRT, the firmware I run on my router, and it broke my #ClearNode. It had choppy audio and slow ping times. I believe it had to do with using a channel width of 80 MHz. The old configuration used 20 MHz. Reducing the bandwidth helped. Switching to the 2.4 GHz network also helped, which I'll do for now.

TIL the #ClearNode app will allow me to (a) connect to my ClearNode device from outside my LAN, (b) connect my node to another node, and (c) stream audio (one way) to my smartphone. I am amazed. #AllStarLink
