Hello #mastodon!

I’ve been quiet for a while because I started a new job! I’m now working in IT Governance/Risk/Compliance as a Compliance Integrations Analyst. I’ve been adjacent to the #grc world for a while with my previous roles, but now im diving head first!

I’ve also gotten WAY more involved in #crainofacial and #cleft advocacy in my free-time

Thanks for being patient with me as I spend time offline navigating my new roles and responsibilities. 💕

It's been a busy past 9 days getting to know the newest member of the #family. Micah is doing well, and everyone is adjusting to being a family of 4.

Micah was born with a soft palate #cleft, which we didn't find out until right after birth. We are fortunate that his hearing is fine, and feeding from a bottle is going well by using a #flow stopper.

Surgery will be needed next #spring, but for now we are enjoying the #snuggles and #love.
