@Brittca I don't read much fiction but I did recently grab a copy of "Wounds" by Nathan Ballingrud, which is actually 6 separate stories

In terms of other fiction, I lean towards #IrvineWelsh novels

I tend to read several books at a time, mixing between actual books & audiobook. Most of these are non-fiction so I like to mix it up with a bit of fiction brain-candy

As for non-fiction, I read feminist lit - #ClementineFord #MonaEltahaway & others that I can't think of at the moment

Also biographies around #AusPolitics & various (left leaning) politicians. Also, stuff around mental health, medicine, the welfare state & of course, #TrueCrime

Recently I watched "Blonde" on Netflix, a loosely based bio on Marilyn Monroe. I realised what a tragic & complicated person Marilyn was & although I don't fancy her much as an actress, her influence then & now is undeniable. I decided to learn more about her so I'm reading an old-ish 2nd hand hardcover biography, & I'm really enjoying it. It's not my usual literary diet & that's cool with me 🙂✌️
