With Royal Mail changing their postal charges on 03 April 2023, I've now added a FREE pickup option to my [g]store for locals and visitors to Edinburgh. I much prefer shopping in person for groceries as it allows me to check the quality of fruit & veggies before I buy, and the supermarket is less than 10 minutes walk away.

However, I do prefer click-and-collect for buying from department stores - I'm actually heading over to Westfield Eastgardens in an hour or so to pick up some items I bought online from Big W on Tuesday. I have to take a bus trip there, and there is nothing worse than making the half-hour each way journey only to find something I planned to buy is out of stock. C&C, even if it means waiting for a few days for more stock to arrive, means that my trip won't be a wasted one & I will be coming home with everything I planned to buy. #shopping #clickandcollect #groceries #retail #online

#ClickandCollect for Austrian #retailers doesn't work so well. Not surprisingly for me, online-shopping is difficult and, apart from niches, has only worked really well for a few major players.

Lors de notre petite balade autorisée, le curé était sur le parvis de l'église avec sa guitare et nous a demandé en plaisantant, si on avait respecté le Km. Je n'ai pas eu la répartie immédiate. A savoir s'il pratiquait le #ClickandCollect sur la confession !

1er jour de reprise du drive à la #médiathèque : on a couru partout et on a eu quelques cafouillages (gens qui réservent des livres d'autres bibs du réseau ou qui ne viennent pas à l'heure), mais bon, personne n'est reparti les mains vides et tout le monde était content !
