Bisher hatte sie kein Interesse, für Leckerli zu arbeiten weil sie lieber alle sofort und alle auf einmal haben will und der Meinung war, eine Katze müsse nur laut genug Miauen um sich durchzusetzen (womit sie recht hat). Aber auch eine wuselnde quirlige Katze lernt früher oder später.

Beide hörten auf ihre Namen, weshalb wir sie nicht änderten. Anfangs konnten sie kaum klettern. Nun rasen sie über den Catwalk. Anfangs folgte Coco uns wie ein Schatten durch die Wohnung. Und Miri duckte sich jedesmal vor unserer Hand, wenn wir sie streicheln oder bürsten wollten. Mit viel Spiel, Ruhe, Geduld und jede Menge #clickertraining lernten wir gemeinsam Kunststückchen und bildeten #vertrauen Miri lernt einfach wahnsinng gern. Und ich auch. Clickertraining wirkte Wunder.

I’ve finally found a good toy for #groundwork for her. It’s easy to pick up, easy to clean, easy to find and easy to push around!

I’m teaching her how to #fetch and by now she goes after the toy when it’s being thrown, picks it up and throws it back into my general direction haha

#CatSchool #ClickerTraining is going 😺well. I've trained mom staff to give me treats when I sit on this shelf in the living room as well as the one near the kitchen door! When I see the pointer in her hand, I know it's treat time! Mom points to places & I hop up here and get a freeze dried piece of minnow 🐟. When she says"quit" training is over, she throws a treat away from her, and I run to find it. Cool game. I love this place♥️😻🐟 #TuxiCat #CatsOfMastodon #Cats

Today is #Caturday. I had four 5:00 minute #ClickerTraining sessions to learn to hop up onto my new shelf near the kitchen door, instead of guarding or dashing. I get a *click* n treat when I go "up". I get another when I go up and "wait" for mom to go through n back out, rather than dashing in.

Moin! Das Projekt "möglichst autofreies/klimaneutrales-#Landleben" schreitet voran.
Heute erstmal Fahrtraining für mich in die Gärtnerei, endlich kann ich auch "sperrige" Einkäufe transportieren.
Und dann ging es weiter mit "Hund and den Hänger" gewöhnen.

Kundenkarten sind ein ~tagulator~. Für jedes Zielverhalten (Sandwiches und Caffee kaufen) bekomme ich ein Stempel (Event marker). Wenn die Karte voll ist, gibt es ein Caffee umsonst.

Clickertraining (beim Menschen wird es TAGTeach genannt) findet sich im Alltag an vielen Stellen.

Ich baute mir ein ~tagulator~ aus neun Müttern, einer Schnur und einem Karabiner.

Für jedes vorher festgelegte Ziel (Duschen, Sportübung machen, ..., Emails beantworten) das ich erreiche, ziehe ich eine Mutter nach unten.

Dieses Feedback markiert mein Zielverhalten und ich freue mich über meinen Erfolg, ausserdem kann ich mir etwas schenken wenn die Kette voll ist. Das hilft, seine Ziele zu erreichen.

Today's adventures in #ClickerTraining involved me clicking Callisto for targeting my hand from a distance and then throwing the treat away from my body so she'd have to decide to re-engage with me, and also clicking the 2 older dogs for maintaining a down/stay and ignoring the thrown food. Whew! Multitasking is hard! 🥵🦮

Yesterday, Callisto went for puppy testing with a neutral trainer to see how she reacts to sudden changes in her environment and other things. At one point she escaped the testing area, headed for the "big dog" agility obstacles and began climbing the teeter totter. She is FEARlESS! Today she will stay behind with me while her other siblings are tested and we will introduce the airline carrier and do some clicker work. #ClickerTraining #ServiceDog #puppies
