#FalconCrest s3e8 - 8/10

1️⃣ Final episode for #RaymondStJacques. Always enjoy his work. He was very good in this story arc, mostly doing scenes with #CliffRobertson.
2️⃣ First episode for #LauraJohnson as Terry. Feels like the show is trying too hard with this character.
3️⃣ Linda continues to be dull, and the marriage to Cole is a dull storyline. That said, their scenes here were full of affection and rather sweet. I don’t watch the show to see people being gloriously happy, but this was charming.

#FalconCrest s3e7 (1983) - 9/10
This is fun.

1️⃣ This was the season I first got into Falcon Crest. As a teenager, I was mostly drawn by the crime-drama aspects. We see some of that here, with #CliffRobertson as (hero-detective) Michael still trying to prove that Dr. Lantry tried to poison Chase.

2️⃣ The stuff with Cole eloping, or Julie tangling with a vengeful guard in prison, doesn’t interest me much.

Many folk will never have heard of or have forgotten the life-long actor #CliffRobertson. In 1978 the mini-series #WashingtonBehindClosedDoors (1977) was broadcast in UK, and I developed a man-crush on the character of William Martin! Ha ha ha Some will recall CR’s rôle as #UncleBen in the noughties’ #Spiderman saga.
