Seeing reports on Twitter that SB253 passed the California state Assembly (it already passed the state Senate) and will be heading to Gov. Newsom's desk for a signature or veto.
If the governor signs the bill, it will require big corps to publish their greenhouse gas emissions, including scope 3.

A study reveals that nearly all of the world’s population was exposed to global warming over June-Sept. The study measures human exposure to extreme heat and humidity, which can cause health risks and reduce productivity. The study warns that the exposure will increase unless drastic actions are taken to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
