I agree with this opinion. (Dutch) farmers historically are a very conservative, often Christian, bunch, but they are not known to massively support extreme right viewpoints. Efforts should be made to involve them in climate rescue.
And yes, I do think progressive climate laws are absolutely necessary - late, but hopefully not too late!
