Your post - "World food costs have hit a record high and are destabilising societies around the globe.
What can be done to curb global food price rises?" is a great reminder of this crisis.
This is also a good time to remind ourselves that - “We cannot address climate change without moving away from fossil fuels. ‘Equally’, we cannot reach our climate targets without tackling global food production. Even if we stopped emissions from fossil fuels right now, emissions from food production alone would take us well beyond the carbon budget for 1.5°C, and leave little room to reach our 2°C target.” https://ourworldindata.org/food-emissions-carbon-budget
& that The EAT-Lancet Commission says that we can feed 10B people a healthy diet within IPCC goals. https://eatforum.org/eat-lancet-commission/

So, for the planet, please be a #ClimateConsumer & #EatPlantBased, #EatVegan or #EATLancet.

Actually we agree - you have just expanded on the concept of a #ClimateConsumer. IMHO in our society there will always be consumers unless we return to a barter society and disband fiat money.
