@andrewfreedman .. and it’s a doozy! 👀 Trees down all over where I live, weakened from the drought, and now the soil is so soaked - they just can’t take it. Still I welcome this storm - every precious drop, every snowflake. We almost lost our home twice in the #CaliforniaWildfires. This whopper of a storm is building up our much needed snow pack and will give us a measure of drought relief.

@MeadeKrosby Great article thank you. We almost lost our family home last year in the#DixieFire. #NativeAmericans have always known best how to care for the land. We would do well to take another long hard look at #CulturalBurning. Smaller, more frequent fires applied to the land compared to large governmental controlled burns.
