I just listened to the latest Cost of Living podcast with external Paul Haavardsrud about the banning of single use plastics. It talked about Stone Straw's biodegradable straw being included in the ban despite not being made with fossil fuels (I think it is Cellulose and Acetate).

Is this a government oversight or am I missing something?

We live in a very rural area and have always enjoyed watching the birds around our house and on our farm. We practice organic methods since we got here 20 years ago. Although we've been careful to leave as much fallow as possible and plant attractive foods, we've noticed that we are not seeing as many birds or as great a variety as we used to. Not a good sign.
