So, the #IPCC #climatereport 2023 is announced. So far I've only seen the "Summary for Policymakers" - the full report is "coming soon" according to the website. Another timely kick up the backside for #ClimateAction . At 36 pages, the Summary still has much to digest. It boils down to three familiar points: 1) the situation has got pretty bad; 2) what we have to do to fix it; and 3) we'd better be quick. We welcome the IPCC's latest report and support its call for urgent action and a just transition to secure a liveable future for all.

In Scotland, we already have the technologies necessary to deliver climate resilient developments such as decarbonising homes through improved energy efficiency measures and the electrification of heat.

We cannot afford further delay and call on the Scottish and UK Government to act now.
