Side project reveal π In order to learn more about #ClojureCLR β and #dotnet + the #CLR in general β I tried to find existing projects to look at. Since I didn't find much, I decided to try my luck porting something from Clojure on the JVM. Enter #ring-clr, a port the Ring HTTP abstraction popular in Clojure, made available for ClojureCLR. Most things should work pretty much as-is, but some work remains with e.g. file uploads.

The big blocker for adoption of #Clojure on the #CLR is IMHO not in the language, but the lack of tooling. Prediction time: thatβs going to change this year. Remember where you heard it first π

Really enjoying this blog series on rewriting #ClojureCLR in #fsharp, by David Miller. Love when someone writes on technical subjects I know next to nothing about, and still manages to make it interesting and fun.

Toying around with #ClojureCLR support for #Jarl this weekend, as another platform for #OPA and #Rego evaluation is a very interesting prospect. Quite impressed by the project, but the developer experience could certainly improved on. That I don't have a lot of experience with #dotnet doesn't help π Still, I'm not giving up, and I hope to have at least a basic version published before the end of the year.
I'd be curious to know of any other projects using the CLR port of Clojure!
