this is the plan for the first #ClosetCoreKalle -- plain white cotton+linen blend, lined with a silk scrap I have, can't decide between the white and the black buttons. Planning on a popover placket again, and a full collar not the band collar pictured.

I sewed a few projects since I last posted but am particularly happy with Kalle Shirtdress (pattern by Closet Core). I’m @sewing work clothes for the cold months ahead so I lengthened this by 20cm. New things I learned with this project is #sewing a popover button placket and properly improvising inseam pockets. I was surprised the dress version of this does not have pockets (not counting the chest patch pocket).

I can’t think of a kind of garment right now that would not be better with pockets. Underwear? Swimwear? Dancewear? You can’t put pockets on a tutu, right?
