The best advice we've heard is to add a bunch of instances as bookmarks in your preferred browser. By using the keywords sx1, sx2 ... sxN, when its time to simply type 'sx' and a random number to access the page.

You will want to update your bookmarks every so often to avoid possible fingerprinting.

Yes. We originally setup on Gab because of that furore but jumped ship when we learned they were (the company that silently controls 20% of the Internet, denies access to many users, and seems to get a kick out of the ).

It comes as little surprise Gab chose to isolate themselves. It will help to speed up their processes.

Can the fediverse be at the network level?

We're thinking specifically about servers. How ubiquitous are they. How can we know which instances we get access to?

For example, we can only see one other person who uses the (hashtag) Sanders. Something just doesn't seem right about that.

Given how important are, and the number of instances we assume we are connected with, something seems fishy.
