What does violate it is the fact that they choose a provider in an overseas juristiction where compliance with #GDPR isn't even pro-forma assumed [if you think any of those #CloudAct-ignoring legal figleafs re: USA count as such!]

Ich sehe es rein logisch so: Der Serverstand in EU ist ein notwendiges, aber kein hinreichendes Kriterium. Sofern es sich im ein US-amerikanisches Unternehmen und EU-Standort von zB. #Microsoft handelt, kann Microsoft nicht gleichzeitig US-Recht und EU-Recht einhalten, da sich beide Gesetzeslagen grundsätzlich widersprechen.
