At one of my previous jobs, my boss complained that he only had 128 GB of RAM and its wasn't enough. I did find that funny at the time, but now I am the guy that has 67 GB of RAM and a 64 GB-swap-file and this is what happens regularly when I close #CloudCompare 😅
There's software that is optimized, loads huge amounts of data fast and doesn't do long running tasks on the UI thread. And then there's #CloudCompare ...
