I'm listening to #YesDaddy by Jonathan Parks-Ramage on #audiobook (via #CloudLibrary - yuck!) and Kevin R. Free is the narrator. The book's ok, but not #BathHaus good. A #queer #MeToo #thriller-ish story. Kevin R. Free does an amazing job as its narrator, but I can't divorce his voice from Kevin on #WelcomeToNightVale. One of the biggest complaints I have about #CloudLibrary is its web interface and how it doesn't sync with the device apps. I can switch from my phone to my tablet with ease. Not so if I plan to listen to it on the website. I know...I know... "Gwimo, who listens to #audiobooks on a website?" I do, Jordan. I do!

I use #Libby for other #libraries I have ecards with and it's wonderful! But my local #PublicLibrary system uses #CloudLibrary. When the change was made from #Overdrive to #RBDigital, I was ok with it. #Overdrive confused a lot of our patrons & it was a headache trying to explain it to them. But #CloudLibrary is just wonky. It's not bad. I guess it's user-friendly, but it's not good, you know?

So I'm using #CloudLibrary to listen to #TheDruidsCall by E.K. Johnston (it's acts as a prequel to #DungeonsAndDragons #HonorAmongThieves, giving you a backstory for Doric).

ANYWAY, does anyone else thing CloudLibrary sucks as a #LibraryApp or is it just me? I wish the library system had gone with #Libby, but nope. I liked #RBDigital better, even if it was clunky and stupid. #LibraryLife

Of course I'm easily pleased. 😊

long version: Several suburban libraries formed a consortium to share cloudLibrary holdings that are not in use by our own patrons.

So if you're looking for something specific that's not here, always check cloudLibrary - if AHML, ITPLD, OPPL, Gail Borden, CMPLD or Rockford own it and it's not checked out, it'll be available to you.
