@tongpu I can't speak for others, but when we decided to use #cloudstack for our in-house cloud in 2013, #openstack was too complex to maintain. As I've seen at #cloudscale and also at #cern, they can handle it very well, even if it takes a lot of testing new versions and trying things out, breaking things and time. But also with #cloudstack "it's not all sunshine and rainbows", so building something from scratch with capable developers doesn't sound too stupid to me.
