People have been saying that the cloud providers are really rebuilding the old #mainframe environments. Today I've been looking at #CloudRun & #CloudTasks and I think with these last 2 pieces, the puzzle is finally complete. It's all the things I learned enterprise-scale computing on
- batch queues
- microservices
- source control
- CI/CD
- compile/test cycles long enough to have a 2nd full time job in

Except it's user-friendly(ish) and doesn't require 50 dedicated employees to run it.
