@lisagoblue Absolutely you can do this! I think also a part of the #fediverse #ettiquette is not being a #clout chaser. Follow people back who follow you, unless of course they run completely antithetical to your own system of beliefs. If that is the case then soft block them.

@llarian @garland @Lithium425 I did the hide boosts in the beginning because I was overwhelmed, but Rex isn't the type to boost someone else, - that doesn't bring #clout or whatever he feeds on to his world.
He's a grifter and he will straight up steal your videos/media/etc, paraphrase your words, and add a smiley face and call it his own.

I didn't realize Takei was doing it too. I muted him over there. It's like #BoredPanda content in 280 characters, fun for a minute - but gets old quick.
