@BarrenPlanet twitter started that way too. The second wave users, the clout chasers, ruined it. And they are all here now. Many expressing this same relief. Pro tip: nobody had to be anyone but themself there either. It was a choice.

There's no algorithm here. You won't gain attention by making grand statements and drawing sharp lines in the sand. Accusations, starting arguments, and trying to peak people probably don't work here. And it probably won't be tolerated either.

So far, I've only seen one person behave in such a weird but familiar way (the #birdsite #cloutchasing way) and they joined in Nov of 2022. I blocked them because I just CAN'T with that behavior anymore
