Finally saw #CloverfieldParadox today. As with ‘Lane’, I feel like the shoehorned ‘Cloverfield-ness’ hurt the movie more than it helped. It made the plot messier, it took away from the action on the station, and didn’t even tie the films together well. And the fucking monster at the end was so random it’s almost funny.

I mean, overall I still enjoyed it. But I’m a fan of this ‘mediocre scary sci-fi’ genre, and normal people probably won’t like it as much.
