#ClubQMassacre rips my heart out. Senseless death. Needless suffering. I have a gay nephew whom I love and would die to defend and protect. My life is enriched by his very existence. He harms no one, loves all.
Survivors call ClubQ a safe place, a home.

News last night showed law enforcement and firefighters congratulating each other for saving lives in #LGBT #ClubQMassacre but it was unarmed patrons who stopped and held the shooter.

“Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers said one patron grabbed the attacker's own gun and hit him with it during the shooting in Club Q on Saturday night.

“Another club-goer reportedly helped to keep the gunman pinned down until police arrived.”
