130 followers · 1553 posts · Server spore.socialThe one consideration I haven’t seen anyone mention in the discussion of the tactical and ethical issues regarding the US providing #ClusterMunitions to #Ukraine is that Ukraine is going to be using them to *defend* Ukranian territory, and the civilians that are endangered are their own citizens, and the Ukranian government is going to be responsible for cleaning up its own mess (except insofar as they can convince the Russians to help), which seems to me changes the moral calculus a bit.
