The former Whiteinch Public School Building on Victoria Park Drive South in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic neoclassical edifice built in 1915 and is one of a collection of Whiteinch public buildings along the same stretch of road which were cut off from the neighbouring Victoria Park by construction of access roads for the Clyde Tunnel and the Clydeside Expressway in the 1960s.

Exiting the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow. Opened in 1963, this tunnel increased connectivity between the north and south banks of the Clyde, but at the cost of slicing local communities (and, by the looks of it, even some tenement buildings!) in half.

This morning at the gates to Victoria Park in Glasgow.
These gates were erected to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria by the 'Ladies of Partick' in 1887.
They were originally situated on Balshagray Avenue but were moved to their current position in 1963 when the Clyde Tunnel (which borders the eaatern edge of the park) was being built
